Wumbaya explores nature and culture through music and travel. In the process, he has worn many hats as a lawyer, restaurateur, actor, dancer, musician, composer, producer, band leader, curator, stage manager, sound vendor, poet, writer and a gypsy.
As a Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Wumbaya`s signature setlist and original renditions have left an indelible mark on curated events and audiences across the world over the past two decades; offering unique and versatile renditions of reggae and folkrock music amongst various other genres such as country, blues, rocknroll, grunge and soul.
As a curator, Wumbaya brings together music from across the world with an ear tuned to authenticity, emotion, and cultural depth. Influenced by his travels and diverse sonic experiences, he designs musical journeys that are both intimate and expansive — blending regional sounds, contemporary styles, and timeless classics.
