Wumbaya explores nature and culture through music and travel. In the process, he has worn many hats as a lawyer, restaurateur, actor, dancer, musician, composer, producer, band leader, curator, stage manager, sound vendor, poet, writer and a gypsy.
As a Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Wumbaya`s signature setlist and original renditions have left an indelible mark on curated events and audiences across the world over the past two decades; offering unique and versatile renditions of reggae and folkrock music amongst various other genres such as country, blues, rocknroll, grunge and soul.
As a curator, Wumbaya brings together music from across the world with an ear tuned to authenticity, emotion, and cultural depth. Influenced by my travels and diverse sonic experiences, I design musical journeys that are both intimate and expansive — blending regional sounds, contemporary styles, and timeless classics.
